Copy down the questions in a reply post and fill 'em out. Can be serious, can be funny, whatever you want. If you want to wait 'til after FA to fill this out, it's up to you! Just get it done by sim 2 of the 16-17 season.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
So many thoughts. Hated having the #1 pick in such a flat draft. Thought Jaylen and Jamal were my top 2. Felt the draft had a cliff at 6 after Poeltl, and that looks pretty evident as most of the next 13 picks had great TCs. Truly ecstatic to walk away with DFS, Zu, and Caruso. FVV will likely be better but Caruso just feels way more fun. The IRL busts scared the crap out of me so I generally steered clear of them. Zu looked pretty spicy, just unsure about his blocks. Brogdon I think will be solid. Sabonis feels like Boogie to me. Pretty out on the draft after 19, not a lot of sleeper types for me
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
We did stuff. It was fun. Now the goal is organic growth. I have 5/6 ORL firsts and 2 DET firsts plus a bunch of prospects. Think we'll just watch Smart/Booker/Randle develop then make some decisions. Kawhi fits the timeline well with a 5 year deal.
3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?
It was the best. Our 2016 class had a collective +9 TC. Randle is at B+ outside. Booker is C+ Defense now. In the NDL, Powell went +2 and Stan +1 outside. Kawhi with his Pick Em is B+ Inside B+ Outside. Interested to see Horford at C and how Caruso looks out of the box in P2.
4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Nets. Kept everyone and AD/Rudy get another TC of development etc
Central: Raptors. Elite defense, low turnovers, rebounds. They're not sexy at all but I bet they're really hard to beat
Midwest: Timberwolves. Big TCs from the important guys. Harden A-/A- and KAT is finally here
Pacific: Kings. This feels like a gimme, 5 of them are tanking

5. That was our 20th season! If you went back in time, what would you tell your 1996 SLN GM version of yourself? Tips, tricks, regrets, etc.
He didn't exist. Talking to the 2006 Merv, my biggest tip would be make more content but less AI

Austin Daye, he's all over Mervalytics. Great 10th man or so on a near minimum contract
7. What stips would you come up with for the Zion / Ja draft? Both of those guys have had up-and-down careers so far (for different reasons)
Zion dice roll every year on if he loses weight, maintains, or gains weight. Then subsequent dice rolls regarding injuries where the heavier he is gives a lower number to trigger the injury. Ja doesn't need a stip, there's no Memphis in SLN
8. What would you spend your brainpower on at a silent retreat?
TC, what is it, how does it work, is there a secret

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
I am pumped about my upcoming NDL stars Kris dunn and Malik Beasley! They are gonna tear it up.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
It hurt to fall in the lottery again for the 3rd year in a row. I was happy that Ingram fell to 4, but will need some TC luck going forward to get him to be a star.
CJ Miles was a huge move for me. I am too young to compete for a ring, but I am hoping to make the playoffs. Arguably I should sell CJ and keep tanking but I (maybe incorrectly) thought we'd be too good with organic development and Capela supercamp. It is another good draft coming up!

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?
Mixed bag in Vancouver. Was definitely hoping for more, especially from Ingram.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Nets.
Central: Hawks or Raptors. Leaning Raptors
Midwest: Nuggets. Champs, not sure they are any worse. Timberwolves will be very fun this year.
Pacific: Kings, is there anyone else?

5. That was our 20th season! If you went back in time, what would you tell your 1996 SLN GM version of yourself? Tips, tricks, regrets, etc.
Don't pick Grant Hill. Don't trade with Jesse even when he tells you you are clearly winning the trade.

6. Pitch the most underrated player on your roster.
I haven't talked much about Oubre, but as a 19 y/o rookie he shot 45%, had 1.4 steals and 0.9 turnovers. Pretty sweet.

7. What stips would you come up with for the Zion / Ja draft? Both of those guys have had up-and-down careers so far (for different reasons)
For Zion, any 5-10 day injury automatically becomes a 50 day one.

8. What would you spend your brainpower on at a silent retreat?
I would go absolutely crazy. No interest.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Looks like we're getting another Djokovic Alcaraz all time match on Sunday.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
It was a really interesting draft. Somewhat top heavy but the 10-25 might have some breakout stars. I loved valentine (insert pun here) as a pick. Think he's be a good shooter and is already up to a B+ for outside which is pretty tight. Also thanks Joe for finding/making the pick while I was grilling. I think Buddy Hield is gonna be good

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Thought we did good! Getting Gordon for a pick felt reasonable. I need to think about somewhat consolidating in some positions. But I think the team looks like it's trending in the right direction.

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?
KAT is developing quicker than I thought. Harden up to A- A- was a nice surprise. Hopefully Giannis developed more, but who knows. Also Lopez went up a bit. we shall see how much hedo i can get

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: I would love to see the Knicks be good. No hate to Steven, I think AD is incredible. But we've all been waiting for embiid. Two very well matched teams that might be the 1,2 seeds
Central: Hawks. KD still got it
Midwest: Nugz. Cant bet against the champs. They kept the core together and melo is still stupid good
Pacific: kings stay kings

Ask more questions about the mechanics of the game. The folks who know more are always helpful when there's stuff I don't know.

ARSALAN KAZEMI...nah jk. I think Schroder is actually pretty good, I just havent had any space to play him and he cant go to the NDL

Whenever Ja plays in Colorado, he gets +10 3pt cuz he's a shooter

jesus idk, i guess reading. or building something. I'm not sure how silent retreats work

Celts had a good year. Sox are doing fine. I hope Drake Maye is just somewhat good. I mean the past few years of the Pats have been depressing. Sure the team is bad. But worse, they were so unlovable.

The new deadpool movie comes out soon. Been watching Presumed Innocent on Apple Tv its not bad.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Thought it was a pretty flat draft from 7-30 almost, so happy to have gotten a couple great young guys. Was hoping Brogdan would fall more than he did. Curious to see who emerges as the best players in the draft. Dunn falling to outside the lottery is kind of crazy, and I'm excited to see what he turns into. Fun side question with the #1 pick traded: will Jaylen Brown be better than Kawhi?

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I feel weirdly good about my offseason. I wanted to retain Dahntay, but only at an annual value that allowed me to add some depth after getting bitten by injuries going into the playoffs the past couple seasons. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Fortunately, his loss facilitated adding depth that actually made sense and future roster flexibility. Getting Jameer alleviates the loss in scoring while shoring up point-of-attack defense. Luol fits in perfectly next to Marvin. I finally have a truly stout defense in front of my girthy frontcourt.

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?
Went pretty well! My young guys took massive strides forward as they head to the NDL. My vets that needed to hold the line held the line. Marvin is still demonstrably hungry with a beautiful +2. We're ready to go! We'll use preseason to test just how good the bench guys are before figuring out the rotation.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Nets. Won last year and only got better.
Central: Raptors. Tough division, but I think they also got better and can build off of their success last season, though I think it'll be a dogfight with the Hawks. Pacers also look good.
Midwest: Betting on myself: Young Yameer and le Yazz. This might be the best team we've trotted out since the Nash era. Hoping that we deliver on the promise I see! I think that the Nuggets and Wolves are also craaaaaazy tough! Best division by far.
Pacific: Kings. Jesse's inside machine! Looking forward to see it in action.

5. That was our 20th season! If you went back in time, what would you tell your 1996 SLN GM version of yourself? Tips, tricks, regrets, etc.
Buy out Newble. Do it.
Don't camp Qyntel Woods.

6. Pitch the most underrated player on your roster.
It was easily Jay Williams before the trade... now it's probably Luol Deng. I was stunned I got him on the MLE. He's still one of the best defenders in the league even if he's not a total stock machine. He's also efficient enough of a scorer.

7. What stips would you come up with for the Zion / Ja draft? Both of those guys have had up-and-down careers so far (for different reasons)
Zion and Ja share a stip, but both are crazy OP a la Kyrie:

Two Sides of a Coin
Every 40 days, Ashes flips a coin with one side depicting Guns and the other side featuring Moriah Mills' face.
Guns: Ashes flips a second, normal coin. If heads, Ja plays as normal. If tails, Ja faces legal trouble and must attend court and misses anywhere between 5 days and 30 days depending on a subsequent roll of a six-sided die.
Moriah Mills: Ashes rolls a six-sided die. If 1 or 2, Zion plays as normal. If 3 or 4, a sex worker has tweeted about being pregnant with Zion's kid, and Zion has eaten his sorrows away, resulting in significantly worse performance (think inverse Linsanity). If 5 or 6, two sex workers have tweeted about being pregnant with Zion's kid and are now throwing punches online. Zion must take 20 days away to deal with the drama.

8. What would you spend your brainpower on at a silent retreat?
Sensation vs. perception vs. perspective.

9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Heat meh we'll see. Not great so far imo. Cardinals are over 500, which is nice. Bears look like they'll be good, which is dope!

Been on a bit of an anime kick!
Hunter x Hunter is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Full stop. Too bad the writer slowed down his output... the show is not done and, frankly, the manga isn't all that much further somehow def cried many a time through it.
Jujutsu Kaisen was top tier! No filler. Excellent storyline! Can't wait until the next season!
Attack on Titan is also one of the best shows I've ever seen could very well be the best regardless of genre. Dark. Beautiful. Enthralling. Immersive. One of the best studies of humanity I've encountered.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
it sucked. to win the title.

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?
it sucked except for the parts that did. i want to see two sets of preseason sims

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: nets, AD and a big Swamp D
Central: Pistons - Kyrie will show up a changed man
Midwest: Nuggets - The two time is about to appear
Pacific: Suns! they will realize with one move they can win the division as everyone is struggling.

5. That was our 20th season! If you went back in time, what would you tell your 1996 SLN GM version of yourself? Tips, tricks, regrets, etc.
The night is dark and full of terrors and dont trade for Camby.

If Ja scores about 40ppg in any game, hes suspended for the next week for being too much of a shooter. Zion, if the GM doesnt post a video of them eating a Cheesburger every day, zion will eat that cheeseburger. For ever burger he eats (+5 pounds, -5 quickness, - 5 handles, +5 passing)

writing my story i suppose. Or learn to nut with just a thought.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

This was a super fun draft. I was happy to be able to trade up and get Brogdon, his ratings aren't sexy but his notes suggest he's built really well despite lack of high potential. I was a big fan of the overall guard depth in the class and TC would suggest a lot of guys are on track to be good. I'm already regretting not picking Zubac, drafted for need there but he would have been the value pick.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

Hoping we've gotten better in ways that matter. Thrilled to add Deandre and bring home Tony Allen and also very eager to see how Aaron Gordon looks. Felt like the parts of the team fit well together already and there wasn't a giant home run move to make. Hoping to mount a defense of the division title and make it out of the first round, then see what happens.

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?

Aaron Gordon breaking out on top of the supercamp was the main thing that needed to happen and everything else was gravy. Was also thrilled to see Kevon Looney jump to A-/B with his blocks camp and punch his ticket for SLN. Looked like everyone else held the line or got marginally better, no complaints from me.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Nets by a hair. This division is gonna be a bitch. Magic and Knicks are coming, Boston still good, also LeBron and Wade are still here lol.
Central: Raptors, think we can do this thing again but the Hawks in particular should make it tough, it's a deep division again
Midwest: Jazz, I think Marvin is so f*cking good and Jameer is a huge addition, plus their bigs are good, Ralph just needs to assemble a bench for once
Pacific: Kings. Is anyone else trying to win the Pacific?

5. That was our 20th season! If you went back in time, what would you tell your 1996 SLN GM version of yourself? Tips, tricks, regrets, etc.

Go to therapy. (I started going to therapy a few months later, coincidence idk)

Marco Belinelli, guy has been a bucket for a while and never went to the NDL or got camps. What could have been!

I think I've said this on pods before but I'd have Zion's annual listed weight be a dice roll adding or subtracting up to 20 pounds, which is then tied to his quickness and jumping each season irrespective of how TC goes. Ja's availability should depend on the gun laws in whatever state he's playing in.

8. What would you spend your brainpower on at a silent retreat?

Absolutely nothing, I think I would just get immensely bored and itchy if i'm being honest

Excited for Bears Hard Knocks, that's about it

Was glad to see me and Wes draft a couple of UMD bros in Layman and Diamond (Not titt*es) Stone. WOn't do jack sh*t in SLN but hey, thats part of the fun!

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

Hoping to improve upon a lackluster finish to last season. I think securing a bonafide star at the 2 in Dahntay Jones is a big step in the right direction.

3. Thoughts on TC? How did it go for ya? What do you want to see in preseason?

Saw some nice gains from Hawes and Barton and hoping to see those gains play out in preseason 2.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Nets. Kemba and Lou in the backcourt with AD and Rudy up front... yikes!
Central: Hawks. I think that playoff run will transition nicely into this season with KD and Russ leading the charge.
Midwest: Nuggets. Melo and Steph will continue to ball out.
Pacific: Blazers. Think they are the best team in the division

Don't stress about not getting sh*t right away... You'll end up getting Bron and be chill for a bit.

Lol I am actually really hyped on my Front Court. Balkman and Amundson had crazy camps early in their careers and still contribute well when given the playing time. Hoping Derrick Favors lives up to the hype in his draft notes in preseason 2 so he can get some playing time during the season.

7. What stips would you come up with for the Zion / Ja draft? Both of those guys have had up-and-down careers so far (for different reasons)

Similar to Kyrie's but the reasons for not playing will solely be weight and image related issues... no anti-Semitic BS>

8. What would you spend your brainpower on at a silent retreat?

I would actually be able to write coherent stand-up material instead of getting distracted by the next TV show to come on.

Yanks in a big skid but hoping they can right the ship.
