Peterborough & the region of The Kawarthas Lakes offers a multitude of experiences. You can stroll downtown Peterborough and visit the boutiques or the farmer’s market. Springtime in the region is alive with maple syrup festivals and the beginning of an active fishing season. In the summer, enjoy a guided boat tour of the liftlock or water activities on the Trent-Severn Waterway, theatre & concerts under the stars and golfing. The area boasts a number of fairs and festivals in autumn that are enhanced by the enchanting colours of the season or skate on the canal in the winter or take in a Petes hockey game.
